Last Friday 17th January 2025, the school management held a constructive meeting on the operation of EUREKA, the lost property service. They discussed issues such as organisation, access, data protection and, above all, the infinite gratitude to the parent volunteers who look after the service. Here are the conclusions of the discussion:

• The EUREKA service comes under the responsibility of the school with the commitment of parent volunteers. The management will draw up a short set of operating rules. This document will be presented as soon as possible.
• Following the closure of EUREKA for several weeks, a certain amount of time will be needed to tidy up all lost items. Following this, lost and foud items will be made available in the primary préau during the week of 10 February, from 8.15 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. for pupils, and from 4.30 p.m. for parents.
• From 17th February 2025, the opening hours will resume as before (Thursday 10am-12.50pm for the primary cycle, Friday 11.45am-1.45pm for the secondary cycle).
• The addition of one afternoon per week for parents picking up their children from extracurricular activities or the OIB afterschool childcare service.

• From September onwards, the school will be discontinuing the Thursday afternoon service, which has attracted very little interest. However, they will be proposing a few special opening dates, which they will announce well in advance.
