A graduate of the Studio Laboratorio dell’Attore di Raul Manso, Benedetta has more than one string to her bow: as an actress, teacher and festival organizer, she has been passionately involved in Theatre in Italian activities with us for more than a decade.

Since 2005, José has not stopped communicating his taste for sport to the children of our school. A qualified sports instructor and beneficiary of numerous training courses as part of his work as an educator for the City of Brussels, José teaches not only Football but also all the values of sharing and respect inherent in the practice of sport.

ESCUDERO Jesus

Education and professional experience

Graduated from the University of Seville with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Engraving and a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences, Jesus is an illustrator and has worked for years on didactic illustrations and children’s books. He has also done illustrations for the press for major publications such as Le Vif, The Washington Post, El Pais, Il Corriere de la sera. Jesus has been a children’s drawing teacher since 2004 and was part of a regional library programme in Andalusia where he gave drawing and illustration classes in different villages to public school students. GOFFART Frédérick

First prize in dramatic art at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Frédérick has worked for various associations in the field of theatre. In turn actor, director, animator and teacher, Frédérick has been teaching theatre with us since 2011 and since 2005 with our colleagues in Ixelles.

GROGNARD Jordi

Education and professional experience

Before studying the saxophone, Jordi had already completed a nine-year cycle at the clarinet academy. (+ solfège & instrumental ensembles). Jordi then completed 4 years of jazz training (instrument + ensembles + harmony) at the academy in parallel with a degree in ‘languages, literature & linguistics’ at the ULB. Jordi then studied for 5 years (Bachelor + Master) at the Dutch-speaking Conservatory of Brussels (+ Erasmus in Rotterdam) before taking a final year of pedagogy courses at the French-speaking Conservatory of Brussels (internships in various academies, saxophone, clarinet & ensembles courses). Jordi has been giving private lessons for a dozen years; has worked at the BMS (Brussels Music School) for many years (flute, clarinet, jazz improvisation classes etc.) and performs with various ensembles in concert. (jazz, ‘world’, experimental, studio work, tours, soundtracks for film/television, production etc.).

GRUNBERG Michel

Holder of an ADEPS instructor’s diploma in karate as well as the title of “Renshi” (expert) in the art of karate, a discipline he has been teaching since 1982 in our school, Michel has also presented several high level grades and obtained the 7th dan grade from a recognized Japanese federation.

Holder of a Master’s degree from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels and a specialization in Chamber Music, Tzvetana has been teaching Piano with passion since 2007 and joined our team in 2012, after having given lessons in different Brussels music schools, including the Child & Youth services of NATO.

KEYFLI Levent

Levent has been passionate about football from an early age and has played the game in a club where he has alternated between teaching and playing it since 2016. Currently a student in physiotherapy, Levent wants above all to transmit his passion for this wonderful sport that is Football and has been devoting himself to it since 2017 with our Association.

MOHAMED Fahar

An award-winning cartoonist in 2004 with Dido, published by Carabas, Fahar is also an animator and author of cartoons and a storyboarder. Since 2011, Fahar has been working in our team as a comic book teacher and now shares his passion for sports such as Rollerblading and Swimming with the children of EEB2.

PARDO Mariela

With more than 20 years of experience teaching Spanish to children, teenagers and adults, Mariela has been teaching the language of Cervantes in our Association since 2019.

PIATAKOVA Mariia

Education and professional experience

Pianist since 2002 and piano teacher since 2015, Mariia has been teaching piano to the children of our school since 2018. Mariia is a graduate of the Mussorgsky College of Music in Saint-Petersburg, Russia and is now studying for a Master’s degree in Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Mariia has participated in a multitude of international competitions since the age of 7 and has won numerous prizes in competitions in Russia, Italy (2004), Sweden (2014), Bulgaria (2015) and Slovenia (2019).

PIERARD Amaury

Member of our team since 2016, Amaury communicates his passion for sport in various activities such as Swimming, Football but also refereeing Footfest and Interclass matches. A long time football player, especially at national level, he has won several league titles, but has also been able to go abroad on the occasion of big tournaments where he played against clubs such as Lyon, Manchester or Amsterdam.

RIZEA Giana Maria

Giana Maria started teaching Piano in different academies in 2014 and has been teaching at EEB2 since 2019. Holder of a Master in Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, Giana Maria has also won multiple prizes in different international competitions.

A multidisciplinary artist oscillating between music and visual arts, for which she graduated from La Cambre, Sharon loves above all to discover, understand and share her discoveries and has been teaching in Academies since 2012. Sharon joined our team in 2018 to give your children the opportunity to express themselves in disciplines as varied as arts and crafts, science and filmmaking!

SCOUMANNE Virginie

With a Bachelors degree in Primary Education since 2012, I first taught French as a foreign language and circus techniques at the Scandinavian School of Brussels. Passionate about languages and education, I also trained in Sweden to promote the inclusion of children with special needs in the different schools where I worked. This year, I have been in charge of the intensive support in the French-speaking section at EEB2 (primary cycle) and I am again starting a complementary training in Orthopedagogy to specialise in this field.

In addition to teaching, my great passion is aerial silk. I have been practising this circus discipline since I was 11 years old and I train daily to develop strength and flexibility but also to create artistic choreographies.

VAN DE WATER Marc

Education and professional experience

With an experience of more than 20 years in teaching Chess, Marc has been teaching this discipline to the students of our school since 2011. Holder of a trainer’s certificate, he also took part in many competitions and obtained the title of Vice Champion of Hainaut Blitz in 2000. The transmission of his knowledge has led three of his students to become Belgian Champions in their respective age categories (8, 10 and 12 years old).

📢 European Summit 2024

As announced in the national media, the European Summit will take place on the 17th April and 18th April 2024, which could cause major disruption to the capital’s road network.

The disruption is expected to start at 07:00 and could affect the APEEE school transport service. Due to this situation, we anticipate the risk of delays and/or cancellations to the usual routes. The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time.
