Bus Park

 

All the routes are secured by supervisory staff and teachers. You will find below the arrangements in place for each cycle.

For Kindergarten Pupils

The system put in place for kindergarten pupils is as follows:

  • Arrival in the morning by bus which will park in the parking bays,
  • Pupils getting off a bus will be organised into groups and accompanied by APEEE transport parking staff,
  • APEEE transport parking staff will help organise the pupils into lines and classes,
  • Kindergarten pupils will go via the crosswalk rue Kleinenberg, which is parallel to the salle polyvalente, will reach access ramp which is located at the level of the canteen delivery platform, and use the staircase which runs alongside the infirmary and will access their playground via the entrance of the mat/prim building by the double door of the entrance C)
  • At the end of the afternoon the kindergarten classes will be accompanied by teachers from the nursery at around 15.05 and 12.35 on Wednesdays,
  • Class by class, two members of the kindergarten school teachers will help to escort the children to the waiting buses in each parking bay.
 

For Primary Pupils

The system put in place for primary pupils is as follows:

  • Buses arrive in the parking in the morning,
  • Pupils safely cross the street, and are taken over by the school staff,
  • Primary pupils will be taken to the school via the crosswalk rue Kleinenberg, which is parallel to the salle polyvalente, by the access ramp which is located at the level of the canteen delivery platform. Pupils will use the staircase alongside the infirmary, P1 and P2 pupils will access their playground via the entrance to the mat/prim building through the double doors in entrance C) and P3, P4 and P5 pupils will go to the playground (except in case of rain)
  • At the end of the day, P1 and P2 pupils will leave their classes as normal in lines and will take the same route back to the bus park, accompanied by their teacher,
  • The pupils will be taken to their respective buses by their teacher,
  • At the end of the day, pupils in P3, P4 and P5 will leave their classes and go to the bus park,
  • During the first two weeks, teachers will accompany their classes to the bus in order to make sure that all pupils are familiar with the route and the method of boarding the buses.
 

For Secondary Pupils

The system put in place for secondary pupils is as follows:

  • In the morning, all students from the secondary school must leave the bus park, cross the street and go by the access ramp near the canteen delivery point,
  • After school, at 15.20, they must return to the bus park via the same route,
  • Students boarding the bus at 16.10 can also use the exit and stairs by the infirmary.

Please remember that the Rue Kleinenberg is a one way street and that it is forbidden to go up it and park your car in the area near the pavement and in front of the access ramp in order to drop off your child in the morning. A « Kiss and Ride » is available for this at the corner of the Rue Kleinenberg and the Rue Oscar Jespers.

📢 European Summit 2024

As announced in the national media, the European Summit will take place on the 17th April and 18th April 2024, which could cause major disruption to the capital’s road network.

The disruption is expected to start at 07:00 and could affect the APEEE school transport service. Due to this situation, we anticipate the risk of delays and/or cancellations to the usual routes. The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience in this exceptional circumstance. We will do our best to minimise disruption.
