Terms & Conditions

The APEEE has revised its Terms & Conditions which will be applicable as of the 2022-2023 school year. We highly recommend that you carefully read the Terms & Conditions which are available here.

General

  • Any changes concerning the current school year must be sent by email.

Use of school buses is strictly reserved for students of the European School of Woluwe-Evere.

Registration Renewal

For pupils registered for the school bus during the 2022-2023 school year, the subscription is automatically renewed. The same stops, times of departure, authorisations (to leave the bus unaccompanied) and billing information will be used for 2023-2024.

However, the requests for an additional (mentioned above) stop must be renewed annually

You will receive a new schedule by email at the beginning of the school year. You can consult the details of your child’s bus registration on line at any time by connecting to your Secured Zone.

Please help keep the database up to date by checking all the information concerning your family. It is important to check all the information by clicking on EACH child.

New parents, and parents of pupils who are not currently registered for the school bus, can register on-line via their Secured Zone.

Registration for New Pupils

In order to obtain a login and password allowing you to enter your Secured Zone to register your children for the school bus and for extra-curricular activities, you need to create an account.

Registration for Existing Families

You will be able to register your children via your Secured Zone using the login and password in your possession.

If you have lost them, please click on Forgot your password?

Permanent Changes

Permanent changes include moving houses, change of stop, etc …

These requests must be made via your Secured Zone, at least one month in advance.

One-off or Temporary Changes

Because of the overcrowding and the increasingly limited number of spare seats in buses, we may not always be able to accept requests for occasional changes of bus (e.g. to visit another pupil, the doctor, a private teacher, or a sports club).

  • Between 1st and 30 September

We will not allow any one-off or temporary change of bus.

  • From 1st October

Any one-off or temporary change of bus must be requested by sending an email to the Transport Office before 13:00 the day before at the latest, and will only be accepted based on the availability of seats.

Request for Extra Bus Stop

Requests for regular use of a different bus departing at the same time (13:00 – 15:30 – 16:20) will only be considered as of November and will be subject to the availability of seats in our buses. This does not concern children living alternate weeks with each parent (shared custody).

Requests for an additional stop must be renewed annually. After eventual acceptance, the approval may be withdrawn at any time during the school year in order to release a seat for a student to be transported to and from home.

Cancellation

  • Before 30th June

Registration with the school transport service being automatic (on the basis of the previous subscription), parents wishing to cancel their child’s subscription for the new school year must do it via their Secured Zone or send an email to the Transport Office before the communicated deadline.

  • After 30th June and during the school year

The cancellation must be done via your Secured Zone. Cancellations for reasons other than moving house or a pupil leaving the school will only occur at the beginning of the following term.

Authorisation to Leave the Bus Unaccompanied

Kindergarten and primary parents must indicate whether they wish their child(ren) to be allowed to:

  • leave the bus unaccompanied (YES),
  • to leave the bus if accompanied by an older brother/sister (IF AC)
  • be kept on the bus unless an adult meets them at the bus stop (NO).

Secondary pupils who have not been authorised to leave the bus alone are not allowed to use the buses that leave the school at 16:20

📢 European Summit 2024

As announced in the national media, the European Summit will take place on the 17th April and 18th April 2024, which could cause major disruption to the capital’s road network.

The disruption is expected to start at 07:00 and could affect the APEEE school transport service. Due to this situation, we anticipate the risk of delays and/or cancellations to the usual routes. The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience in this exceptional circumstance. We will do our best to minimise disruption.

Best regards,

APEEE Bxl II Transport
